Bunions and Hammertoes

Bunions and hammertoes are the result of your inherited bone structure. Over time, with use and abuse, the bones shift in position and create the hammertoe and bunion deformity. It involves a change in the bone structure and is associated with arthritis of the joint. X-rays need to be taken to evaluate the extent of the deformity.
